Climatic and German modular construction

Modular construction, which enables the rapid construction of different types of buildings, is a method eagerly used by our western neighbours. At Climatic, we follow the example of the German market, where the share of modular construction is 20%, and introduce the new technology to our customers in Poland.

Climatic realisations in Germany

The German market is growing intensively. As a result, we have the opportunity to make our mark there, competing with international construction companies in terms of high quality as well as fast delivery times. To date, we have completed more than 6,000 m2 of projects in Germany. These have included special projects such as a hospital with equipment, military facilities and an office building for a radioactive waste depot, a project to convert the youngest iron ore mine in the Salzgitter region into a radioactive waste depot that will take over 90% of the waste from all over Germany.

Advantages of prefabrication

Our modular construction projects can testify to the many advantages of prefabricating components off site. Using prefabricated modules, we can even extend several storeys without interrupting the normal operation of the building, as was the case with the hospital in Luneburg. At the same time, we maintain high quality standards for all our modular developments. We have greater control over the precision of the individual components, because we make them in the factory from the same components and with the support of qualified staff. The advantages of modular construction are also apparent to its users. There is no problem to move or remove selected modules - at the tenants' request.

Meeting expectations

Modular construction in Germany is finding its way into the property development industry in particular. In the big cities, the demand for housing is constantly growing and property developers cannot keep up with building them. Each year, 350,000 new homes are needed there. Not only does housing have to be built quickly, but it also has to be affordable for average wage earners. Hence the interest in the promising modular construction method, which delivers a finished product efficiently in terms of time, quality and cost. Making a project in modules reduces the execution time by up to 50%. The method of series production of prefabricated elements works well especially for large investments - especially hospitals, kindergartens, social and office buildings or hotels.
