Climatic Transformation of a Modular Hospital Ward at the Regional Specialist Hospital in Legnica
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Climatic team completed the hospital building with all the necessary installations and landscaping (including preparation of the car park and access roads) in just under two months.
The modular 'temporary' hospital in Legnica had 96 beds for COVID-19 patients.
The hospital, built in modular technology with Climatic steel construction, was the only facility of its kind in Poland built during the COVID-19 pandemic to be given a 'second life' and the building is still in use today. The modular hospital was rebuilt and adapted for imaging diagnostics and a temporary emergency department. All thanks to the flexibility of Climatic's modular technology.
