Module assembly is underway at SPZOZ MSWiA in Kraków
At the end of December, a contract was signed for the implementation of an investment project for the Independent Public Healthcare Unit of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Kraków, covering the expansion and modernization of the hospital complex, including the construction of a new diagnostic and treatment building “D”. Importantly, only six months have been allocated for delivery under the design, build and equip formula. Such an extremely short timeframe required innovative execution methods, as well as precise coordination and quality, therefore we are proud to report that, thanks to Climatic’s modular technology, the project has already reached an advanced stage of implementation.
For several days now, the assembly of the new hospital building with an area of approximately 4,000 m² has been underway on the premises of SPZOZ MSWiA in Kraków. The works are progressing according to schedule, with completion planned for April 18, which means that the assembly phase itself will take just 10 days.
Fast delivery enabled by prefabrication
The efficient transition from contract signing to on-site execution confirms the key role of a high level of prefabrication and the ability to carry out multiple processes in parallel, from module production in the factory to on-site assembly works.
The project is being delivered under the design, build and equip formula, and the use of modular technology with a steel structure makes it possible to maintain high quality while significantly shortening the construction timeline. Prefabrication in controlled conditions allows for precise preparation of elements and efficient coordination at every stage.
Importance for healthcare infrastructure
The implementation of the building located at 25 Kronikarza Galla Street demonstrates that steel modular construction effectively responds to the needs of healthcare infrastructure, especially within demanding timeframes where predictability and full control over the investment process are crucial.
