New Modular Kindergarten in Wawer - Project Nearing Completion

The construction of a kindergarten in Warsaw’s Wawer district, delivered using modular steel construction technology, is now nearing completion. The progress of the project from its start to the current stage clearly demonstrates how quickly and predictably educational facilities can be delivered using this approach. As part of the investment, a two-storey building with a total floor area exceeding 1,100 m² has been completed, consisting of 22 modules. The key stage of structural assembly was carried out in just three days.

Site visit at the final stage of the project
Due to the very fast pace of the project, we had the pleasure of hosting a visit from representatives of local authorities. The facility was visited by, among others:

Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw – Rafał Trzaskowski
Mayor of Wawer District – Paweł Michalec

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the applied technology and its significance in the context of developing educational infrastructure.

An adaptable building, ready for the future
One of the key aspects highlighted during the visit was the mobility and adaptability of modular construction. The completed building can be easily adjusted in the future to meet changing needs – including conversion from a kindergarten into a school. This type of flexibility is particularly valuable in the context of dynamic demographic changes and public infrastructure planning.

A pace that truly transforms the investment process
The entire facility was delivered in a very short timeframe, which was one of the main topics discussed during the visit. The use of modular steel construction technology allowed a significant portion of the work to be carried out in the production facility, followed by a fast and highly coordinated assembly on site. As a result, the entire investment process is completed within months rather than years.

Proven technology for public investments
The project in Wawer is another example of the use of modular technology in public buildings. The combination of short delivery time, a high level of prefabrication, and the ability to adapt the building’s function in the future makes this solution increasingly popular in educational projects. We would like to thank all participants involved in the investment process, as well as the representatives of local authorities, for their visit, commitment, and valuable discussions accompanying this project.
